Bob Dylan ficou no topo de uma nova lista das Maiores Músicas de Todos os Tempos

O sucesso de 1965 de BOB DYLAN, "Like A Rolling Stone" ficou no topo de uma nova lista das "Maiores Músicas de Todos os Tempos".

Editores e colaboradores da revista Rolling Stone levaram meses formando a última lista das top 500 e a faixa do disco de Dylan, "Highway 61 Revisited", bateu "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" dos THE Rolling Stones no posto de número um. "Imagine" de JOHN LENNON vem em terceiro enquanto "What's Going On" de MARVIN GAYE e o hino "Respect" de 1967 de ARETHA FRANKLIN, formaram as top cinco.

Também formando as top 10 estão "Good Vibrations" dos THE BEACH BOYS, "Johnny B. Goode" de CHUCK BERRY, "Hey Jude" dos Beatles e "Smells Like Teen Spirit" do NIRVANA.

Os anos sessenta foram a melhor década para sucessos, com 195 músicas chegando ao top 500; 1970 veio em segundo com 131 entradas. O melhor ano foi 1965.

THE BEATLES e THE Rolling Stones lideram os artistas da enquete – Fab Four teve 23 entradas na lista; os Stones tiveram 14. BOB DYLAN vem em terceiro com 13 e ELVIS é o único outro artista com dois dígitos, com 11.

O extenso júri responsável pela eleição incluiu a estrela do Pearl Jam Jeff Ament, Devendra Banhart, o ícone punk Jello Biafra, Mary J. Blige, Jack Bruce, a estrela do COLDPLAY Will Champion, Yoko Ono, Jakob Dylan e o lider do MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE Gerard Way.
